Introduction to Cultural Competency: Where Does the Ketchup Go?
Join The Center for our signature "Where Does the Ketchup Go?" Cultural Competency program. This 3-Hour training is available for anyone! You can register as an individual or encourage a group from your organization to take the training together. The fee is just $25.00!
This is an introduction to cultural competency concepts. The training will explore the different components of culture as they relate to ourselves and other people.
The training has three primary goals:
1. Introduce what makes "culture"
2. Explore the cultural concepts of group orientation, time orientation, and communication styles
3. Learn new skills to navigate language & culture
The training will use breakout rooms, polls, and online quizzes to make this event as interactive as an in-person training. Participants will be able to comment verbally or using the chat box.
