Successful Vaccine Clinic - Nearly 100 Vaccines Administered
On Friday January 13, 2023 The Center hosted another successful Vaccine clinic - administering nearly 100 vaccines in just 3 hours.
On Friday, January 13 2023 The Center hosted another successful vaccine clinic. We offered vaccines for Influenza (Flu), COVID Pfizer and Moderna primary doses, the Bivalent booster, Shingles, Pneumonia, TDaP and HVP. We administered a total of 98 vaccines: 46 COVID-19 vaccines, 38 Influenza (flu), 3 Shingles, 4 Pneumococcal, 2 HPV, and 5 TDaP. The clinic was organized by The Center's CDC Partnering for Vaccine Equity - Community Navigator Program, in partnership with Riteaid pharmacy. The Mohawk Valley Health System was also present to offer free blood pressure screening. Compass Interpreters, the interpretation department at The Center provided language support and tone, the translation department at The Center provided flyers for outreach.
