The Center Sponsors Free COVID-19 Testing Clinics

In order to help stop the rising rates of coronavirus infection, the Center has been partnering with community organizations to help provide free coronavirus testing clinics.

In the past month, The Center has hosted four free coronavirus testing clinics. On Wednesday, July 15 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church The Center hosted a clinic with Chobani and the City of Utica. There were interpreters in Spanish, Arabic, and other languages. 676 free tests were administered.

The Center also hosted a community testing clinic in the Oneida County Office Building Juror’s Parking Lot on July 3rd. This was a collaborative effort between the Oneida County Health Department, The Center, and the New York State Department of Health. There were also interpreters provided for patients.

The Center has previously hosted two community clinics at our office location with interpreters available. We plan to host more in the future.
